Ios download corrupted

I have tried a few times now to try and update via iTunes in Windows 10, however the same error appears once the download of the firmware is finished, and states:. I also tried reconnecting the phone via the cable, but it won't budge. I also have plenty of space left on both devices. I have a new way to connect to my router of a very reliable TP-Link wireless adapter due to a new setup, so my PC is not connected via an ethernet cable to the router, but surely this should not affect the iTunes firmware download or installation..?
