Wireless ac1200 dual band usb adapter driver download linksys

The standard one in the laptop worked fine, but after installing the Linksys adapter I am getting download speeds in the upper 80mbps now vs the mid 20's I was getting before. What a difference! My only concern is the adapter is on the larger side and sticks out quite a bit from the laptop so it's something I'll have to pay attention to when handling it. Aside from that, the speed difference far outweighs the size concern. Please note, I received this product free from Linksys in exchange for my honest review of the product.

Now, every day or so, it refuses to connect to my 5GHz network on a Netgear Nighthawk router. It will sit on "connecting" for a while then If I unplug it and plug it back in, it sometimes works, but the past two days it has simply refused to connect to the 5GHz network.

Tried restarting the router, nothing. Frustrating that when it works, it's so fast, but it only works once in a great while. The computer that I have installed the AC on is located in a small office in the furtherist corner of the second floor of my home. The signal has to travel through brick walls and a plaster ceiling. I have 25 mbps of broadband from my cable provider.

The install was quick and simple using the included CD. I am running Windows Using a network speed test, I am getting 8. This is a room where I could barely get any Wifi signal on a new Ipad. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.
